| Ohama Match | Saturday, November 14, 2009 - 10:38:37 AM | City lost its final game of the fall season to a tough Omaha Goats team. Omaha got off to a strong 3 try lead in the first 20 minutes. City was able to get on the board when Brandon Naghshineh scored both the try and make the conversion kick, however Omaha wasn’t finished and the first half ended with the score 33-10.
The Goats started off the second half scoring early off an unfortunate City knock on. City was able to score again on a penalty kick by Brandon Naghshineh, but that would be the last time. City was able to hold off the Goats on some key drives, but it wasn’t quite enough with the final score 52-10.
A special thanks goes out to all the old boys and fans that came out to cheer on the team not only on this unseasonably warm November day but all year round. None of us would be able to play without your support.
City beat one of the top teams in the league, Springfield, 25-12. Scoring for City was Andy Dujakovich, Mark Dunning, Nick Welchert, Ben Gorden, and Brandon Naghshineh.
Man of the match was awarded at Westport Flea Market to Cameron Loechl for is play at hooker.

Fall Prize Giving
City will be holding this season’s awards banquet at the Westport Flea Market on Saturday, November 14th at 7:00pm. With all the new faces, everyone is wondering who will get rookie of the year!
