We made it through another great summer. We finished 3rd in our division, just a few points shy of qualifying for the West.
If you haven’t been keeping up, we’ve been busy! City successfully completed four fundraisers including: Parking for River Rest, Uno's Pizza Party, Party at the Point, the Highland Games, and Rock Fest. Thanks to everyone who made these fundraisers possible.
We have had a successful 7’s campaign (thanks Theo and Andy!) now we’re focused on the start of the 15’s season. We have a new Coach from Wisconsin, James Taylor. We started training last week in preparation for our first scrimmage game against the Northlands on August 29. We are back training at Gilliam Park on Tuesday’s and Thursday’s at 6:30. Feel free to come out for a run or a drink after. Be sure to introduce yourself to all the new faces, including the new coach.
We have a lot of hard work ahead of us and appreciate all the support of our fans, alumni, administration, and players. We hope to see everyone out at some point this season, especially with the 45th anniversary coming up on October 10th.
